Dr Gnanachandran was really patient and explained everything very well. He diagnosed the endometriosis really quick and we proceeded with surgery , before that we talked all the option and gave me full support in my decision. He did a great surgery and my recovery was great . I definitely recommend Dr Gnanachandran he is one of the best specialists.

Dr Gnana was easy to talk to, gave a diagnosis straight away, which made me feel better from the start. Explained options and made my choice easy to make. Mr Gnanachandran was the ONLY health professional to take me seriously in 3+ years of battling with doctors for my pain. He diagnosed me with stage 3 Endometriosis and swiftly took action to plan the surgery. I can’t recommend him enough, even down to the small details such as remembering details about my personal life, he has a warm presence and is very easy to trust.

Mr Gnanachandran, Consultant Gynaecologist,
Graduated from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka (2002)
NHS training programme in 2004.
In 2005, he started obstetrics and gynaecology training, working in several hospitals throughout the West Midlands and Wales, completing training in multiple different aspects of gynaecology including ultrasound scan and laparoscopic surgery for patients with subfertility, endometriosis, fibroids and early gynaecology malignancies.
In 2016 he was appointed as a consultant at Northampton General Hospital to develop fertility services and gynaecology rapid access care service provision.
In his current post, he leads fertility, emergency gynaecology services and gynaecology rapid access care (suspected cancer 2ww pathway) dealing with patients suspected of having cancer.
His main interest is to help patients avoid unnecessary interventions and to allow them to access appropriate early surgery when needed.
